Google Ads and Google Analytics Integration
PromoGoat is an AI-assisted marketing planning and advertising platform operated by PROMOGOAT LIMITED (Registration Number ΗΕ 485227), a company registered in Cyprus. PromoGoat helps businesses plan paid advertising campaigns, build creative strategy, research keywords, create ads, and measure how those campaigns perform. It is available at promogoat.ai and the application itself runs at app.promogoat.ai.
This page describes the PromoGoat application that connects to Google Ads and Google Analytics through Google's APIs, what it does with that connection, and what access it asks for.
What PromoGoat does
PromoGoat turns a business brief into a working advertising plan and then helps run and measure it. The product has five surfaces:
- Campaign Planner — cross-channel media plans and budget allocation.
- Creative Strategy — brand truth, audience insight, and creative directions.
- Search Planner — Google Ads keyword research and campaign structure.
- Ad Maker — on-brand static and video ads.
- Visibility Planner — SEO and AI answer-engine visibility audits and action plans.
PromoGoat plans across Google, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Campaign execution, where PromoGoat deploys and manages campaigns from the plans you approve, is rolling out platform by platform, starting with Google Ads. The Google integration connects the plans PromoGoat produces to the Google Ads accounts where campaigns run and to the Google Analytics properties where results are measured.
What PromoGoat does with Google Ads
When a Google Ads account is connected, PromoGoat uses the Google Ads API to do work that would otherwise be done by hand in the Google Ads interface:
- Reporting — retrieving campaign, ad group, keyword, and conversion performance to produce performance reports and a dashboard that tracks spend and delivery.
- Campaign deployment — creating and updating campaigns, ad groups, responsive search ads, keywords, and negative keyword lists from media plans that have been written and approved in PromoGoat.
- Budget and performance management — adjusting campaign budgets and pausing or enabling campaigns according to thresholds the account owner defines.
- Keyword research — retrieving search volume and forecast data during media planning.
What PromoGoat does with Google Analytics
When a Google Analytics property is connected, PromoGoat uses the Google Analytics Data API to read reporting data — sessions, traffic sources, conversions, and landing-page performance — so that campaign results can be measured against what happened on the website. PromoGoat does not modify Google Analytics properties, settings, or data.

PromoGoat only accesses accounts and properties that the account owner has explicitly connected through Google's consent screen, or that are linked to PromoGoat's Google Ads manager account with the account owner's consent. Access can be revoked at any time from your Google Account permissions page or from within PromoGoat.
How Google data is handled
- Google account data is used only to provide the features described above. It is never sold, never used for advertising unrelated to your own campaigns, and never used to train generalised machine-learning models.
- Data is stored on PromoGoat's infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, and retained only for as long as the connection is active or as needed to show you historical reporting.
- Data is shared only with the sub-processors that host and operate PromoGoat, and only as needed to deliver the service.
- PromoGoat's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
